What People Say

Most Liked

Patrons rave about the delightful omelettes, particularly the Denver omelet, which consistently garners positive reviews for its flavor. The French toast also stands out, offering a sweet start to the day that pairs perfectly with their rich coffee. Fast service keeps customers coming back, with many noting their meals arrive promptly, allowing for a quick dining experience without sacrificing quality. The friendly staff adds a personal touch, making visitors feel right at home. Plus, the affordable prices are a definite highlight, providing great value for the generous portion sizes.

Most Disliked

Some diners mention the small size of the restaurant can lead to a busy atmosphere, especially during peak weekend brunch hours. This can detract from the experience if you prefer a more tranquil setting. A few customers have pointed out that while the food is generally fantastic, specific dishes might not meet expectations during particularly busy times. Additionally, there have been comments about the limited dinner options, as lunch is significantly busier than dinner. Some cherish tranquility over the lively diner vibe, which may not suit everyone.

Man, I’ve passed by this place 1,000 times over the years. And never had an occasion to stop in. I was missing out. It’s exactly what you want in a counter top diner. Like, exactly. The staff behind said counter was fast, efficient, and friendly. Prices were great food was what you wanted it to be. I got the French toast, my buddy got pancakes and eggs. Solid.

I grew up eating here for half my life. So many laughs and good times with good people. Food was always great, Chris is a good man. Wish I knew the name of the brick chili they used to have. Man that was the best.

The place was pretty busy. We sat down and decided what we would want. I had the #3 (3 eggs with hash browns, bacon and toast). He had the #4 (Denver omelet with hash browns and French bread). We shared a grilled cheese sandwich as an appetizer. I had coffee which came with a little cream dispenser instead of little plastic servings. I love that!!! As you can see in the pictures, I short of washed the plate. 😄😄 He had a root beer with no ice. Our waitress was Mary and she was VERY service oriented. I spoke in Spanish to her (because that’s what I do when I notice the other person is Latin@) and she responded very politely even though my plus one doesn’t understand and dislikes feeling left out. But she respectfully addressed him in English and waited on us like we were the only ones there. The place is small but is constantly being patronized. There are 2 person booths and all but one were in use. The counter seating was also almost to capacity. But… that’s not all… people kept walking in to pick up orders. Prices are reasonable for the times. Yes… a little hole on the wall but the food has good flavor. I reiterate the service is outstanding and the atmosphere was an old fashioned way. The line cooks worked as if they were synchronized and that made the order come out quick. All in all I had a good experience

Messy omelette ..substituted with sausage instead of steak..was soooo good! The steak was too big when I tried the first time.. but the food comes right from the grill!

This is a perfect sit down diner for breakfast. Sit at the bar and watch them work together, and make your food. Food is delicious. I ordered the ribeye steak and eggs for $12.49. I substituted the rib eye for chicken breast instead. I just try not to eat too much red meat. Chris served me very well and kindly. This is the place to go to for a good American breakfast. Plain and simple. Meat, eggs, potatoes, and friendly smiles. The portions are great. This is now my go to spot for early morning eats.
